We are starting to get our days confused now. Today (Wednesday) we were up again at the wonderful hour of 5AM. Supplies were loaded, breakfast consumed, and we were ready to go by 6 AM. Before departure, we offered a Guatemalan style prayer. That is when we all pray aloud at the same time. We know that God can sort it out. We also pray like this everytime we are going to travel. We need God’s protection! God is so faithful! We were able to complete the sanding, put on a 2nd coat of mud, sand again so that the inside of the homes are now ready for a coat of paint tomorrow. We worked together as an entire team to stucco the outsides of the homes after that. We then added a porch roof that will come in very handy during the rainy season here. The families were all very happy with the progress and are eager to move into their new homes. We had a lot of time to interact with the children of the village today. THey loved to play games such as “keep away”. The girls got their fingernails painted and they were all so eager to learn English. We taught them the song “God is Good” and Halleu/Praise Ye the Lord” They also learned how to say Hello and Good bye and how to count to 10. They were so proud. We arrived home at 5:30 and are now preparing to bring gifts to the family as well as dedicate the home to them tomorrow. Pray for health on our team. One of our members is not feeling well. She is having altitude sickness and hopes to be well as soon! Blessings until tomorrow.
